King Crab Legs with Kale Salad

To continue on our Labor Day Weekend of fine dining, we decided to try some King Crab legs. We found these at Costco, which has a surprisingly well-stocked fresh seafood department (Julia challenged Philippe to find a way to cook an entire salmon, so stay tuned). It turns out that crab legs are incredibly easy to prepare since they're cooked and frozen right when the ship comes to port. You simply have to warm them up before serving (yes, that's what fancy restaurants do too). We covered them in a pan of water in the oven and it did the trick. We kept things simple and paired the crab legs with melted butter and a bottle of prosecco. A kale and avocado salad rounded out the feast nicely!
